Abstract
Durant plus de quinze mois, entre 1997 et 1999, des gographes de lUniversit de Lausanne et de lUniversit Al.I. Cuza de Iasi ont travaill sur le thme de la construction dinformations territoriales pertinentes sur la Roumanie.Le projet 1 , financ par la Confdration Suisse dans le cadre dun programme de Coopration en science et recherche avec les pays dEurope de lEst et des Nouveaux tats Indpendants, outre les changes mthodologiques et la mise au point technique dun systme de communication cartographique pour la Roumanie lchelle de ses 2'948 communes, a permis de proposer une rflexion thorique plus globale sur les problmes et les enjeux de la communication des territoires et spcifiquement des espaces roumains.
