Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The “Social Circus” (Circo Social) is a project managed by the Vice-President of the
\nRepublic of Ecuador and developed by the municipalities of Quito, Cuenca, Guayaquil and
\nTena. A program created by Cirque du Soleil in Quebec and spread to 23 countries
\nworldwide. The Social Circus aims to involve young people in circus arts to remove them
\nfrom the risk of participating in activities of violence, drugs, alcohol, and prostitution,
\namong others.
\nThis thesis is the result of four months of research and consists of three parts. The first is a
\nresearch project of the Social Circus in Ecuador, especially in Quito. The second is a
\nwritten document, a provisional toll of which is the Social Circus of Ecuador until the date
\nof publication of thesis. Within the written documentary there is a section that describes
\nwhat was the project of “Youth Circus”, a circus with objectives similar to the Social
\nCircus. And the third part is a television documentary of what was the Circus of the Youths
\nand the beginning and objectives of which is the Ecuador Social Circus in 2012.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
