Abstract
Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na návrh polyfunkčního bytového domu v nové Jižní čtvrti města Brna v kontextu urbanistického vývoje této městské části na základě urbanistické a objemové studie Brno - nová Jižní čtvrť, vydané Kanceláří architekta města Brna. Brno, jakožto většina velkoměst, se potýká se suburbanizací, tudíž aktuálním tématem je řešit především zástavbu ve městě tak, aby lidé neměli potřebu odcházet za jeho hranice. Jádrem práce je návrh a výzkum pavlačového domu s umístěním pavlače na uliční fasádu. Nedílnou součástí jsou také analýzy, které byly vypracovány společně s kolegy jako předdiplomní projekt.
