Abstract
La problemática medioambiental de los refrigerantes desde la Cumbre de Montreal ha obligado a buscar nuevos refrigerantes que no contengan átomos de cloro, que afectan a la capa de ozono. Por otra parte, el protocolo de Kioto ha provocado una tendenciaa a buscar nuevos refrigerantes, que tengan una baja equivalencia en los Gases de Efecto Invernadero GEI, que se ha visto favorecida por los impuestos que estos refrigerantes pagan en función de su equivalencia a GEI. Los nuevos refrigerantes tienen condiciones de funcionamiento de los equipos de compresión diferentes a los refrigerantes, que tradicionalmente se venían utilizando, por su compatibilidad con los materiales de la instalación, los aceites que lubrican al compresor y el más importante, por los rangos de funcionamiento del ciclo frigorífico. Se pretende diseñar un equipo que permita variar el tipo de refrigerante y las condiciones de funcionamiento, para poder extraer conclusiones al respecto.
