Abstract
El siguiente trabajo, está elaborado a partir de los cuidados y funciones que desempeñan los enfermeros y enfermeras del equipo de trasplante hepático del Hospital Universitario del Rio Hortega, situado en Valladolid. \nConcretamente el trabajo está centrado en la función que desempeña el equipo de enfermería de anestesia del trasplante hepático. \nPara un mejor entendimiento he enfocado el trabajo desde varios puntos de vista diferentes. \nPrimero he intentado explicar, de la manera más completa posible, en que consiste un trasplante hepático. A continuación he desarrollado las funciones y responsabilidades del personal de enfermería en el quirófano, detallando cada aspecto de la manera más exacta posible. \nPor último, he realizado un plan de cuidados de un paciente intervenido de un trasplante hepático en el Hospital Universitario del Rio Hortega, para poder ver de manera más concreta todas las competencias de la enfermería.
