L'inclusion des personnes trans dans la présente édition (2018) du Net Gay Bi Trans Baromètre (NGB) s’est révélée un défi malgré nombre de précautions prises.Nous avons engagé une recension des écrits pour établir un bilan de l’état des connaissances actuelles sur cette population. Le questionnaire fut ensuite modifié et soumis à plusieurs vagues de validation tant en sol français que québécois, puis mis en relief par rapport à cet état des connaissances. L’objectif est donc de parvenir à publiciser une enquête incluant les enjeux de l’identité de genre.La version 2020 du NGB propose donc l'inclusion des personnes trans (s’identifiant comme femmes ou comme hommes) et de leurs partenaires (s’identifiant aussi comme femmes ou comme hommes), afin d'obtenir plus d'informations sur leurs parcours de transition et les divers enjeux qui entourent leur santé sexuelle, psychologique et physique.
