Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

»-- « The Quebec government has set itself the objective of improving the social inclusion of people with disabilities by implementing a series of measures, programs and laws aimed at improving the integration of people with disabilities into economic and social activities. The labour market is an environment that fosters interaction between individuals, but its sometimes highly selective requirements can lead to the exclusion of people with disabilities from Quebec's political, economic and social life. Furthermore, the exclusion of people with disabilities from the labour market is caused by a lack of training and qualifications, and by the need for convenience, which is a little expensive for some companies. This observation motivated me, as a student researcher, to become involved in understanding the Quebec government's strategy for integrating people with disabilities into the labour market. The aim of this research is therefore to learn more about the interactions between people with disabilities and the Quebec government, and to assess the level of participation of people with disabilities in Quebec's economic and social activities. To address this concern, this research is based on an autorexographical approach in which the narrator describes his or her own experience in the first person, on documentary research and on observations made during recruitment processes for people with disabilities within the Bas-Saint-Laurent branch of Services Québec. It should therefore be pointed out that this research contributes to raising the awareness of the Quebec government because the employability of people with disabilities is slightly limited by a lack of consideration of their contributions in the economic system itself. -- Mot(s) clé(s) en anglais : Disability, inclusion, government, Quebec, economic, policy, social, employment. »--

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
