Étude exploratoire des conceptions probabilistes correspondant aux niveaux de Green

Abstract
Cette recherche exploratoire vise à tenter de déterminer des niveaux de conceptions probabilistes. Le test "Probability concepts in 11-16 year old pupils" du britannique David R. Green permet de classifier les individus suivant quatre niveaux de rendement, obtenus statistiquement par la méthode du scalogramme de Guttman. À l'aide de ce test, nous avons sélectionné 20 élèves de 10 à 16 ans représentatifs de ces divers niveaux, puis, nous avons réalisé avec eux des entrevues cliniques, grâce auxquelles nous sommes arrivé à définir qualitativement quatre "niveaux de conceptions probabilistes". L'administration du test de Green à 409 élèves québécois a également permis de mettre en évidence plusieurs faits intéressants.
