Abstract
"Introducción: Fidel Castro constituye un ejemplo indeleble a seguir por todos los cubanos. Su incansable lucha determinó el desarrollo y consolidación de la Medicina en Cuba. Objetivo: describir la relación existente entre la figura histórica de Fidel Castro Ruz y la medicina revolucionaria cubana. Método: se realizó una revisión bibliográfica y documental de los diferentes artículos publicados relacionados con la figura de Fidel Castro Ruz y su relación con el desarrollo de la Medicina cubana actual. Se utilizaron métodos de análisis-síntesis, deducción-inducción e histórico-lógico. Conclusiones: el líder indiscutible de la Revolución Fidel Castro Ruz jugó un rol fundamental en el surgimiento y consolidación de la Medicina Revolucionaria, y su presencia desde el inicio significó el cumplimiento de lo propuesto en el programa del Moncada."
