Abstract
La mise en œuvre d'un tourisme durable est aujourd'hui un enjeu majeur dans le développement des territoires de montagne. La question de la durabilité des ressources mobilisées est dès lors centrale, abordée ici par le biais de leur patrimonialisation. Les parcs nationaux tels que le parc national de la Gaspésie (Québec) mobilisent de plus en plus les ressources patrimoniales afin de concilier des objectifs de protection des ressources naturelles et des enjeux de développement touristique. À travers l'exemple du caribou de la Gaspésie, cet article propose d'étudier dans quelle mesure l'entrée patrimoniale permet de repenser l'exploitation d'une ressource dans ses liens à l'espace et au temps. L'animal est ici mobilisé pour étudier les évolutions sociales, culturelles et territoriales d'une société à l'égard de ses ressources
