Today's book publishing comes with its own challenges.Printing costs keep rising, shipping costs do the same.Pressure from on-line sites and large booksellers like Amazon add more downward pressure on prices and margins.And we've had to reduce staffing costs, just to stay in business.To offer competitive prices to our customers, we schedule sales on our website.-We put a selection of books/e-Books on sale in our Tuesday "Genealogy Pointers" ezine that runs through Thursday.-A second sale is announced on Fridays and runs through the coming Monday.-On national holidays, we typically announce a sitewide sale.All our sales are Internet-only.We cannot honor sale prices over the phone or through the mail.Sale prices on the web are the same for institutions as for individuals.Moreover, libraries can save all USPS shipping costs anytime they place an order in excess of a set minimum.To take advantage of our sales, libraries should set up an account on our website and place their orders with a credit card while the sales are in effect.At the present time, we are not set up to fulfill library orders "on account" on our website-although this could change in the future.Libraries wishing to order books on account are welcome to do so via Fax, phone, or mail; however, we cannot extend discounts for them.We encourage members of Genealib to subscribe to "Genealogy Pointers" to stay abreast of our latest publications, tips for
