Abstract
HIV-AIDS merupakan penyakit menular yang dapat mengakibatkan berbagai komplikasi, salah satunya adalah gangguan fungsi kognitif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui karakteristik dasar pasien HIV-AIDS serta hubungan lama terdiagnosis dan stadium penyakit dengan gangguan kognitif pada pasien HIV-AIDS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik observasional dengan desain cross sectional yang dilakukan pada 63 pasien HIV-AIDS di VCT RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling. Fungsi kognitif dinilai menggunakan Montreal Cognitive Assessment versi Indonesia (MoCA-Ina). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 54% pasien HIV-AIDS mengalami gangguan kognitif. Gangguan kognitif lebih banyak terjadi pada usia <50 tahun (82.5%) dan berjenis kelamin laki-laki (77.8%), mayoritas belum menikah (49.2%) dengan pekerjaan wiraswasta (54%), sebagian besar menempuh pendidikan <12 tahun (52.4%). Pada penelitian ini, pasien mayoritas masih berada pada stadium 2 (38.1%), dengan lama terdiagnosis ≤5 tahun (74.6%). Berdasarkan hasil uji, didapatkan p-value hubungan lama terdiagnosis dengan fungsi kognitif (p=0.939) dan stadium penyakit (p=0.498). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara lama terdiagnosis dan stadium penyakit dengan gangguan fungsi kognitif pada pasien HIV-AIDS. Oleh karena itu, masih perlu ditinjau lebih lanjut faktor-faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi gangguan kognitif pada pasien HIV-AIDS.
