Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze of psychological stress and eating disorders in final year students in Yogyakarta.In addition, to see the relationship between the two.The hypothesis of this study is that there is a positive relationship between final year students'psychological distress and eating disorders in Yogyakarta.The subjects of this research were 150 final year students in Yogyakarta.The data collection tools used were the psychological distress scale and the eating disorder scale.The psychological distress scale consists of 21 statement items and has a reliability of 0.931, and the eating disorder scale consists of 9 items with a reliability of 0.757.Hypothesis testing uses the Rank Spearman Rho's correlation procedure.The results of this study indicate that psychological distress and eating disorders among final year students in Yogyakarta are high.Furthermore, a significant relationship was also found between psychological distress and eating disorders.
