Abstract
Last winter Hayley Wickenheiser led Team Canada to gold at the Vancouver Olympics. It was the fourth Olympic medal for Wickenheiser, a woman who started her long athletic career in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan. This spring, Wickenheiser was recognized at the University of Regina's convocation ceremonies when she received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree.
