Illustration de mon quotidien à la verticale est un documentaire expérimental par lequel je tente, par le recours de mon processus créatif, de répondre au questionnement suivant : comment se réapproprier le contenu des archives numériques produites au quotidien, dans le but de créer une nouvelle forme de récit autobiographique ? Pour répondre à cette question, je convoque les concepts comme les interactions entre individus à l’ère du numérique, la conception de l’identité personnelle, la forme du récit sur Internet et le processus créatif nostalgique. Ces concepts guident l’interprétation subjective que je fais du portrait à l’ère d’Internet. Puisque l’acte instantané et éphémère des outils socionumériques m’amène à produire inconsciemment de l’information sur mes interactions quotidiennes, il est question de comprendre comment donner du sens à postériori à cet important archivage de photographies, de publications ou de vidéos créés sur Internet dans le but d’illustrer avec cohérence la routine spécifique d’un étudiant étranger à Montréal. Cette démarche individuelle tente de reconstruire le récit inconscient de mon activité sur Internet par le biais de la représentation que je fais de mon propre vécu.
