Abstract
En cinco capítulos, el autor nos introduce en un período de nuestra historia política particularmente interesante, porque —como él mismo lo aclara— se produce la primera ruptura del orden institucional argentino, el golpe de Estado del 6 de septiembre de 1930. Se utilizan para ello, los aspectos teóricos de las obras de Gaetano Mosca, Vilfredo Pareto, Robert Michels y Charles Wright Mills. Se tienen en cuenta así los aportes sobre la clase política, las élites y la élite del poder, desarrollados por aquellos reconocidos autores. También se incorpora el concepto de acción recíproca de Georg Simmel, con lo que se intenta un abordaje sociológico empírico del pasado argentino entre 1930 y 1943, “transformando a la socialización en parte del fundamento del poder”.
