Abstract
This week marked the second anniversary of the 2020 mass shooting in Nova Scotia that saw gunman Gabriel Wortman disguise himself as an RCMP officer and murder 22 people including three police officers over a 13-hour spree of shocking violence and arson before turning his gun on himself. In Nova Scotia, a mass casualty commission has been raised to hold an inquiry into the attacks, but after weeks of public hearings the process is being harshly criticized. Retired journalist Parker Donham says the inquiry has turned into a \\"hot mess,\\" and he joins Gormley to explain why.
