Abstract
This paper focuses on the impact of oil price fluctuations on the exchange rate regime of three oil producing countries which are Canada, Norway, and Russia. It also analyses the effect of oil prices on interest rate, inflation rate and GDP. This paper treats oil prices as exogenous variable that affect each economy. In case of Canada and Russia, I found out oil prices affect the exchange rate in both medium-run and the long-run while it does not have a direct impact on the exchange rate in the short-run. When it comes to Norway, oil prices have a significant impact on the Norwegian exchange rate only in the medium run
