Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación consistió en verificar la incidencia de un programa de recreación en el estado de ánimo de los adultos mayores del Centro Villa Hogar la Esperanza en el primer semestre del año 2012, en la ciudad de Sangolquí; debido a que el 80% de ellos presentaba problemas en su estado de ánimo según los estudios realizados por la Psicóloga den Centro la Dra. Alicia Romero. La investigación fue de tipo Cuantitativa, Cuasi Experimental, basada e un pre y post test, con una población de 80 asultos autoevaluados, aplicandose una encuesta diagnóstica como punto de partida, que permitiera conocer los gustos y preferencias del adulto mayor con respecto a la variable independiente, la recreación, y para analizar la variable dependiente el estado de ánimo, se aplicó el test de POMS...
