Abstract
Al fine di poter applicare la tecnica di radiodisinfestazione ai garofani recisi infestati da Epichoristodes acerbella (Walk.) si sono osservati gli effetti delle radiazioni ionizzanti sulle uova del fitofago.Dosi da 5 a 70 krad sono state applicate su uova che schiudevano dopo 7, 4 e 1 giorno.I principali risultati ottenuti hanno indicato che:- dosi di 7, 20 e 70 krad causano la mortalità di tutte le uova quando queste vengono) trattate rispettivamente a 2, 5 e 8 giorni di età;- una dose di 13 krad applicata sulle uova di 8 giorni d'età è sufficiente a impedire lo sfarfallamento degli adulti dalle crisalidi ottenute;- una dose di 10 krad induce una completa sterilità negli adulti provenienti da uova irraggiate.
