Abstract
Múltiples factores condicionan la transmisión de una lengua en contextos\n\t\t\t\t bilingües, y dentro de ellos las actitudes lingüísticas juegan un\n\t\t\t\t rol importante. Estas son definidas como las valoraciones de los\n\t\t\t\t hablantes hacia un fenómeno específico, lengua, variedad o sociolecto.\n\t\t\t\t Este trabajo aborda el problema en Montreal, contexto multilingüe\n\t\t\t\t y multidialectal, donde el español comparte uso con el francés y\n\t\t\t\t el inglés, lenguas mayoritarias, y donde distintas variedades del español\n\t\t\t\t entran en contacto. El objetivo del estudio es determinar, a través\n\t\t\t\t del cuestionario, las actitudes de jóvenes hispanohablantes (14-24\n\t\t\t\t años) frente al español y sus variedades dialectales. Los resultados\n\t\t\t\t muestran que: 1) los informantes reconocen la diversidad del español\n\t\t\t\t y se reconocen en su norma, 2) las normas de origen, la mexicanocentroamericana\n\t\t\t\t y el español peninsular gozan de prestigio entre los\n\t\t\t\t jóvenes, 3) se reconoce cierta tendencia a la acomodación lingüística\n\t\t\t\t en la primera generación, 4) los jóvenes se perfilan como transmisores\n\t\t\t\t de la lengua española y afirman valorarla positivamente, por lealtad\n\t\t\t\t y por la utilidad de la misma.
