Abstract
The establishment of a Jewish quarter in the city of Calahorra after the Christian conquest in the year 1045 was made possible by the numerous concessions, \ncharters, and privileges granted to the city by the monarchs. With a distinct space within the city itself, the Jewish quarter of Calahorra managed to become one of the most significant ones within the Kingdom of Castile until the expulsion decree of 1492
