Abstract
Sous l’effet de la pandémie Covid-19, notre mode d’habiter et nos logements revêtent une importance nouvelle. C’est à ces bouleversements que tente de répondre mon projet qui s’inscrit dans la continuité de mon énoncé « Vivre ensemble à l’heure du coronavirus ». L’enjeu du projet est le développement de logements coopératifs qui permettent, grâce à la circulation et aux espaces communs conviviaux, de respecter une distanciation physique sans pour autant créer une distanciation sociale ou un isolement. Une attention particulière a été portée à la typologie qui offre une grande flexibilité — verticale, horizontale ou par zones — et un confort par son équilibre entre espaces communs et privatifs. Le bâtiment de volumétrie verticale — situé à l’Est de la place Beaulieu à Lausanne — propose une valorisation importante d’un site peu investi, sans porter atteinte au bâti ou à la nature. Le projet mêle privé et public afin d’animer le quartier et de participer à la vie publique lausannoise en dialoguant avec le site de Beaulieu. La tour revisite l’architecture traditionnelle lausannoise, tout en contribuant à la densification du bâti en milieu urbain. Elle ambitionne de créer une autre identité à ce type de bâtiment et d’amener une réflexion sur l’expression et le rôle d’une tour dans le décor lausannois. À travers sa forme originale, sa coursive verdoyante et son programme attrayant, elle pourrait devenir un symbole d’intégration et apporter des réponses aux enjeux sanitaires actuels.
