Abstract
En este Proyecto de Fin de Grado se desarrolla un mercado de abastos y mercado gourmet para el barrio, con el fin de solucionar algunos problemas planteados anteriormente. Con un equipamiento de mercado en el barrio, se fomenta la creación de emprendimientos productivos, algo casi inexistente en el barrio, ya que los habitantes solo pueden ir a comprar a un Mercadona o a una pequeña tienda situada en la plaza, por lo que también podrían elegir dónde hacer la compra. Por otra parte, los mercados de abastos son un gran motor económico para el barrio, ya que produce más ingresos para el mismo, son más sostenibles medioambientalmente, se genera empleo para la gente del barrio y se fomenta el uso de otros servicios locales. En cuanto a la ubicación del proyecto, se escoge la actual Plaza de la Aviación, dotada de una instalación deportiva que en la ordenación urbanística se traslada a la parcela vacía colindante. Se elige esta ubicación porque así el mercado estaría situado en un punto estratégico para actuar como charnela entre el barrio de Puntales y las barriadas de Loreto y de La Paz, atrayendo gente de dichos barrios y de otras zonas de la ciudad y actuando como punto de encuentro y visibilizando el barrio de Puntales.
