Abstract
La société canadienne a connu de profondes transformations depuis le début du XXe siècle. La revue militaire canadienne note que dans leur rejet de l’autorité et de la tradition, les jeunes Canadiens, se sentent membres d’une nation multiculturelle. Comment l’armée fait elle face à ce phénomène ? \nPour répondre à la question, nous mobiliserons ici les travaux de Pierre Bergeron sur l’aumônerie militaire canadienne, composée de 220 permanents et 100 réservistes. Ce dernier connaît bien son sujet, puisqu’il a lui-même officié dans les forces armées de son pays en tant que pasteur pentecôtiste (1993-2013), puis supervisé la formation de futurs représentants des cultes au sein du Centre-École des aumôniers à Borden (Ontario), avant de créer une société de conseil (SIS Leadership Inc.)...
