Abstract
Este artículo sostiene que el espacio narrativo doméstico en A Sibila, de Agustina Bessa-Luís, constituido por la casa de Vessada, se construye en la en la novela como una de las estructuras que sostiene la fuerza de los personajes femeninos. Presentamos un estudio que lee la novela desde la perspectiva del valor de la domesticidad, el valor de la domesticidad, mostrando cómo este espacio narrativo privilegiado en su literatura otras categorías narrativas, como el tiempo y la constitución de los personaje, constitución de los personajes. Para apoyar nuestra tesis analizamos también fragmentos de otras novelas de Bessa-Luís. Son ellas: Fanny Owen (1979), A Corte do Norte (1987), Eugénia e Silvina (1989), Vale Abraão (1991) y A Ronda da Noite (2006).
