NiCHE has archived 5 videos from this event Hacking as a Way of Knowing was a three day workshop that asked participants to repurpose electronic waste into tools that could be used to measure environmental data. The workshop challenged the idea that e-waste should be discarded, and instead used that waste as a learning tool and a source for excellent mechanical parts. The workshop was organized by William J. Turkel and Edward Jones-Imhotep. Bio: Devon is a PhD candidate in the history department at the University of Western Ontario.
