Large countson ANGLESEY included: 129 at Llangefni Sewage Works on 2nd Feb ., 350 were west of Wylfa on the 13th Sept., 440 from the Afon Braint flew north over Ty Croes Farm, Dwyran on the 28th Sept., 530 were west of Wylfa on the 12th Oct., 320 were half a km NW of Llangwllog on the 20dl Oct. and 131 were near Penmon Pool on the 18th Dec.In DENBIGH: Gresford Flash held a significant concentration, possibly of moulting birds, during Oct/Nov with a maximum of 100 on 6th Nov., while Kinmel Bay also held a substantial flock from Sept, to the end of the year with a maximum of 150+ on 25th Sept. As usual, winter floods in the lower Dee Valley attracted significant numbers with 260 at Trevalyn Meadows, Pulford Brook, and 122 at Worthenbury on 25th Jan.; FLINT: 90 at Flag Lane Quarry on 24lh Feb., 106 there on 19th Sept, and a peak of 224 at Whitford on 24th Oct., 300-350 were using the Clwyd Estuary during the autumn and winter, 300 were recorded flying regularly over Rhuddlan during November, and feeding on wet meadows near Rhyl on 7th Dec.CANADA GOOSE Brant a canadensis GWYDD CANADA (C) A locally common feral breeding resident in most counties, with populations continuing to expand.Monthly max.
