Abstract
Formés à l’École Nationale de Cirque de Montréal, Antonin Wicki et Jérémie Vitupier ont construit un duo singulier, élaboré sur un principe d’augustes en miroir, deux silhouettes très proches physiquement l’une de l’autre, mais qui servent d’enveloppes à des personnages aux caractères subtilement décalés. Excellents acrobates, leur répertoire s’élargit en fonction de cette aptitude à bâtir leurs entrées à partir d’un équilibre ou d’un saut. Acrobates et acteurs, Les Expirés fusionnent avec une belle énergie les deux grands axes de la comédie clownesque depuis ses origines. Rapides et dotés d’un sens du rythme étonnant, ils trament leurs reprises de références et d’allusions, notamment celle des Icariens où les clins d’œil à leur passé récent d’étudiants sont à la fois drôles et plein de tendresse.
