Abstract
Les mesures de contrôle des armes à feu sont-elles utiles ? Le traitement des délinquants sexuels est-il efficace ? Qu'est-ce qui fait voir dans l'immigration une menace pour la sécurité nationale ? Les victimes d'actes criminels ont-elles toutes les mêmes droits ? Les opérations de « police sans frontières » sont-elles viables ? Peut-on prédire la récidive ? Et que faut-il penser de la violence au hockey ? Voilà quelques-unes des questions qu'abordent les professeurs de l'École de criminologie de l'Université de Montréal, qui célèbre son 50e anniversaire.
