Abstract
Utvecklingen av mobiltelefoner och elektroniska betalningar har kommit långt men ännu finns ingen framgångsrik mobilbetalningstjänst i Sverige som går att använda som ersättning för traditionella betalningsmedel. Många misslyckade försök har gjorts att introducera en lösning. I den här studien har faktorer för en ökad acceptans och diffusion av mobilbetalning identifierats igenom en litteraturgenomgång av tidigare studier i acceptans, diffusion och mer specifika mobilbetalningsproblem. Faktorerna låg till grund för en lista av krav som existerar ur konsumentperspektiv på en tilltänkt lösning. Kraven har sedan utvärderats genom en kvantitativ undersökning med hjälp av en enkät. Målsättningen var att nå ut till en så stor målgrupp som möjligt för att få en generell förståelse för de verkliga krav som finns. Resultatet blev i stor grad som förväntat där det framgår att säkerhet och kostnader är de viktigaste faktorerna för en stor acceptans, men även andra faktorer kan spela in som enkelhet, användarvänlighet, mervärde i vardagen med mera.
