Abstract
This annual report of the Ontario Vegetable Research Committee concerns research carried out on vegetable crops in Ontario in 1979. The report is composed of reports prepared by the Chairman of the Commodity Subcommittees representing the seven major vegetable crops, reports on lower acreage crops prepared by designated workers, and abstracts submitted by individual workers. The research priorities and recommendations established by meetings of the Commodity Committees are important reliable indicators of the research needs of the vegetable industry of Ontario at that time and were hoped to be useful in the coordination work on those crops by the participating agencies.
