Abstract
The article exposes the concepts of Common, moral economy, recognition \nand conviviality as four analytical and political terms through which the \nassumptions of the unique utilitarian thought grouped in the theory of \nmodernization have been discussed. These are, namely, the tragedy of the \ncommons, the utilitarian maximization of private interest as well as the need \nfor economic rationalizations and innovations as the basis of human relations \nand the promise of industrial progress. The work focuses on contributing to \nthe restructuring of the social sciences by rehabilitating and extending the \ntheoretical exercise of these concepts, beyond what has been done by Pierre \nDardot and Christian Laval, E. P. Thompson, Axel Honneth and Iván Illich.
