Abstract
Proses interaksi antara manusia dengan al-Qur’an sudah berlangsung lama dan membuahkan produk keilmuan yang amat banyak, salah satunya dalam proses menghafal al-Qur’an. Metode hafalan al-Qur’an berkembang dengan corak dan pendekatan yang beranekaragam. Kendati demikian, problematika penghafal juga tidak sederhana dan semakin kompleks. Seperti halnya pengaruh dari dalam diri : kebosanan, jenuh, daya ingat rendah, kurang serius, tidak percaya diri dsb. Pengaruh luar layaknya, budaya popular yang cenderung jauh dari nilai agama, stigma negatif penghafal al-qur’an, problem psikologis, kurangnya motivasi, tergoda akan hubbun dunnya, dsb. \nDalam rangka mencari solusi permasalahan tersebut, peneliti tertarik dengan praktik tahfidz al- Qur’an di Pesantren Penghafal Al-Qur’an Rijalul Qur’an Gunungpati Semarang yang melakukan ziyadah (setoran hapalan) pada waktu yang tidak umum yakni saat dini hari. Selain itu pemilihan waktu tersebut juga disandingkan dengan agenda wajib bagi para santri yakni qiyamul lail. Dengan demikian, penulis tertarik untuk meneliti lebih jauh bagaimana makna yang terkandung dalam praktik tersebut. \nPenelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif- kualitatif dengan cara langsung terjun ke lapangan (field research). Interaksi antar subjek dengan objek yang sedang peneliti amati sangat cocok dengan fungsi pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa praktek tahfidz al-qur’an di Pesantren Rijalul Qur’an dibagi menjadi tiga program besar yakni : sebelum menghafal (persiapan hafalan dengan pengajaran adab serta tahsin al-Qur’an), saat menghafal (rutinitas muraja’ah dan ziyadah dengan tingkat disiplin yang tinggi), dan pasca menghafal ( pelaksanaan ujian tengah dan akhir semester). Dalam praktik ziyaday tersebut, peneliti ,menemukan adanya korelasi dasar program tersebut dengan tuntunan- tuntunan yang diajarkan oleh Rasulullah SAW. Selain itu perintah tersebut juga didasarkan atas kandungan dari al-Qur’an, surat al- Muzammil.
