QUARTER LIFE CRISIS SEBAGAI INTERPRETASI DALAM KARYA SENI FOTOGRAFI DENGAN TEKNIK MONTASE

Abstract
Fase menuju kedewasaan adalah fase yang rumit dan penuh ketidakpastian. Pada fase ini kebanyakan orang merasa cemas akan masa depan yang akan dilaluinya dan perjalanan kehidupan kedepannya termasuk penulis dan lingkungan sekitar pertemanan penulis. Fenomena yang dirasakan oleh orang dengan rentang umur 18-30 tahun ini memiliki nama quarter life crisis. Penulis akhirnya berinisiatif untuk melakukan penciptaan karya berbasis penelitian tentang fenomena ini dengan metode observasi dengan tujuan mengkaji fenomena ini dan menginterpretasikannya kedalam karya fotografi. Observasi dilakukan ke RSJ Cisarua dan Anahata Klinik Psikologi dan menghasilkan pertanyaan untuk angket. Berdasarkan hasil angket yang sudah disebar rata-rata mereka tidak mengetahui istilah dari fase yang mereka rasakan, mereka hanya merasa cemas dan khawatir akan masa depannya. Penulis juga menganalisis hasil dari interpretasi yang sudah dibuat. Dalam penciptaan karya ini penulis mengadopsi proses kreativitas dari Tabrani dan dikembangkan menjadi beberapa tahap yaitu pengembangan ide, kontemplasi yang meliputi mencari pendapat dari ahli dan konsultasi ke psikolog, stimulus, pengolahan ide berupa studi-studi ,persiapan alat dan bahan, dan proses pembuatan karya meliputi pemotretan dan pengeditan karya dengan teknik montase, hingga finishing. Dalam proses penentuan tema dari tiap karya penulis merangkum berbagai kecemasan yang sudah dituangkan dalam bentuk angket oleh para responden dan merangkum menjadi 3 kecemasan, yaitu kecemasan akan lulus kuliah, kecemasan saat mencari pekerjaan, dan kecemasan saat berada dilingkungan kerja. Penulis membuat satu adegan kecemasan dalam dua buah karya dari total karya yang berjumlah enam buah dengan ukuran masing-masing karya 24RP didalam kanvas. Hasil karya penulis diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan baru di dunia fotografi dan juga bisa menjadi media terapi bagi orang yang mengalaminya. The phase towards maturity is a complicated and full of uncertainties. In this phase, most people feel anxious about the future they will go through and the journey of their future lives, including the author and the environment around the author's friendship. This phenomenon that is felt by people with an age range of 18-30 years has the name quarter life crisis. The author finally took the initiative to create research-based works about this phenomenon using the observation method with the aim of studying this phenomenon and interpreting it into photographic works. Observations were made at Cisarua Hospital and Anahata Psychology Clinic and generated questions for the questionnaire. Based on the results of the questionnaire that was distributed, on average they did not know the terms of the phase they were feeling, they only felt anxious and worried about their future. The author also analyzes the results of the interpretations that have been made. In creating this work the author adopted the creativity process from Tabrani and developed it into several stages, namely developing ideas, contemplation which includes seeking opinions from experts and consulting psychologists, stimulus, processing ideas in the form of studies, preparing tools and materials, and the process of making works includes shooting and editing works with montage techniques, up to finishing. In the process of determining the theme of each work the author summarizes the various worries that have been outlined in the form of a questionnaire by the respondents and summarizes them into 3 worries, namely anxiety about graduating from college, anxiety when looking for work, and anxiety when in the work environment. The author makes a scene of anxiety in two works out of a total of six works with the size of each work being 24RP on canvas. It is hoped that the author's work can add new insights into the world of photography and can also be a therapeutic medium for people who experience it.
