Abstract
Depuis trente ans, Sylvain L’Espérance élabore, au sein du cinéma québécois, une œuvre originale dont le rapport à la réalité est sans cesse mis à vif par sa manière singulière de d’interroger le cinéma documentaire. Ce livre collectif réunit des textes dont les approches diverses constituent autant de points d’entrée possibles dans le parcours du cinéaste. En phase avec l’œuvre, se dessine ainsi dans ces pages la partition à la fois sensible, poétique, ludique ou méditative d’une confrontation avec le réel.
