Abstract
Este documento relata apenas o ultimo semestre, pois devido ao processo Erasmus, estive seis meses na polónia, dos quais tive a oportunidade ter equivalência a esse mesmo período de estágio. O Estágio no Guarda Unida Sport Clube (GUSC), foi desenvolvido no âmbito da modalidade de Ténis, três dias por semana e localizou-se no pavilhão azul das residências, durante o período de inverno e nas piscinas municipais durante o período de verão, onde estarei em contacto com atletas de diversas idades, desde a iniciação até aperfeiçoamento. Este estágio, de carácter curricular, é uma forma de por em prática os conhecimentos obtidos nas unidades curriculares teóricos - praticas, ao longo dos últimos três anos, com distinta importância para a unidade curricular de desportos individuais, da qual constatava a modalidade de ténis. A minha escolha de estágio na área de ténis, deu-se devido a esta modalidade ser a minha preferida no âmbito de desportos individuais, e ao factor de esta modalidade estar em grande crescente no nosso país. O ténis de há anos para cá tem deixado de ser jogado exclusivamente pela classe alta, como referi, esta modalidade está em crescente para todas as classes, sendo um desporto fantástico, com pouca oferta em muitas cidades do nosso pais, uma das quais a própria guarda, um dos meus objectivos é ganhar experiência de campo para posteriormente poder dar oferta nesta área. Como prova desta afluência ao Ténis, e a sua evolução em Portugal, temos os magníficos casos de Frederico Gil, tenista profissional, e Michelle Brito, dentro do género masculino e feminino respectivamente, os dois tenistas mais conceituados do nosso país neste momento. Devido ao facto da pouca oferta na área do ténis.
