En dépit d’un marché canadien de la construction évalué à 130 milliards de dollars et en pleine croissance, les entrepreneurs doivent faire face à des coûts de construction de plus en plus élevés et à des marges de profit qui s’amenuisent. Dans un tel contexte, ils se tournent vers les fabricants pour qu’ils leur fournissent des produits novateurs, rentables et dont la performance a été démontrée, et vers les gouvernements des provinces et des territoires afin de se doter de règlements cohérents et faciles à mettre en œuvre dans l’ensemble du pays.
