Abstract
The objective of this research is to analyze the exchange regimes and international economic \nrelations in the case of the United Kingdom. The exchange rate regime refers to a set of policies \nadopted by a country through its central bank regarding the value of the currency and its parity, in \nrelation to its exchange rates, it is essential to know the type of exchange rate regime that is \nmaintained and how This influences, mainly in the monetary and exchange policy because this \ndirectly affects the fluctuation of the exchange rate. \nEach country is free to adopt the regime it considers optimal, and it will do so using monetary \nand exchange policies, based on its economic policy that allow it to improve international trade \nand its economic growth projections. The United Kingdom has a floating exchange rate regime or \nit can also be considered mixed. This country, like other countries, is an essential part of some \ninternational organizations that have been formed throughout history. In addition, it maintains \nspecial historical relationships with Commonwealth countries, the United States, and Canada. \nThe relations that the United Kingdom has allow it to obtain an important participation in the \nworld economy and in the commercialization of the different products or services that are offered \ninternationally to the member countries, and likewise those that do not belong to the \norganizations, be it characterized its local currency in recent times before Brexit as a strong \ncurrency against the euro and against the dollar, to maintain a high commercial dependence with \nits European partners after Brexit, demonstrating a strong economic growth of 2021 greater than \nthat of 1941 , it should be noted that all this has allowed it to maintain its economic stability and \nprice stabilization, despite having suffered the regional and global impact due to the pandemic \neffects of the coronavirus, the United Kingdom has been able to demonstrate that with a smooth \nBrexit, they still maintain high dependence in its production of goods and services in the \ninternational context, despite the uncertainty that could have in the medium and long term to \nbreak away from its main European partners
