Sucesos como las elecciones presidenciales en Estados Unidos, tanto en el año 2008 (con el presidente Barack Obama) como en el año 2016 (con el presidente Donald Trump), en Francia en el año 2017 (con el presidente Emmanuel Macron), en Canada en el año 2015 (con el primer ministro Justin Trudeau), el fenómeno de la Ola Verde en Colombia dirigido por Antanas Mockus y los resultados del Plebiscito en el Colombia del año 2016, son muestras claves de la articulación entre el ecosistema político y herramientas digitales como las redes sociales. Este trabajo pretende ampliar estos ejemplos claros que demuestran que la política y las redes sociales, están trabajando de la mano para ampliar sus alcances, a partir de las reflexiones surgidas con los expertos y el contexto planteado.
