Abstract
Els estudis de gasteròpodes continentals no són molt freqüents, per contrast amb l'abundant bibliografia sobre \nels fòssils marins. A la comarca dels Ports l'única espècie de gasteròpode terrestre descrita fins ara és Asensidea \nasensii Calzada, 2002. Però des de la descripció original no s'havia tornat a retrobar. La troballa d'un nou jaciment \nen una nova localitat ha motivat la redacció d'aquesta nota. \nTot i que el material recuperat consisteix en motlles interns, sense cap resta de conquilla, que ha estat dissolta per \nprocessos tafonòmics, s'ha pogut classificar l'espècie per la seua forma característica, troquiforme, les mesures \nindicades al treball original, la fauna d'acompanyament i la continuïtat de l'aflorament. El nou jaciment se situa \na uns 6 Km en línia recta de la localitat tipus del mas de Mateu (Olocau del Rey, els Ports). \nS'ha precisat l'adscripció administrativa de la localitat tipus. S'ha actualitzat la sistemàtica paleontològica, \nd'acord a les aportacions recents. S'ha ampliat la distribució geogràfica de l'espècie amb el nou jaciment de \nl'assagador de les Refoies (la Todolella, els Ports) i es diposita material en un altre museu de proximitat. \nS'apunta la conveniència de realitzar noves prospeccions al Miocè continental de Terol a la recerca de més localitats d'A. asensii.
