Abstract
Nghiên cứu được thực hiện trong năm 2013 nhằm đánh giá về tình hình sử dụng thuốc hóa chất trong quá trình canh tác mô hình lúa ? cá kết hợp, nuôi cá tra ao đất và nuôi cá điêu hồng trong lồng bè. Khảo sát được thực hiện ở 30 mô hình cá lúa ở huyện Cờ Đỏ, Cần Thơ, 15 ao nuôi cá tra ở Châu Phú và 22 bè nuôi cá điêu hồng ở Long Xuyên, An Giang và Cao Lãnh, Đồng Tháp. Qua kết quả điều tra cho thấy 100% các hộ nuôi cá sử dụng hoá chất trong quá trình nuôi. Có 37 loại thuốc hóa chất được nông hộ sử dụng trong mô hình lúa -cá, đa phần được sử dụng cho lúa. Mô hình cá Nuôi cá tra có 19 loại thuốc hóa chất được sử dụng trong đó có 10 loại thuộc nhóm xử lý nước, cải tạo ao và diệt ký sinh trùng, 7 loại thuộc nhóm thuốc kháng sinh dùng để phòng và trị bệnh cho cá và 2 loại dùng để bổ sung thức ăn. Có 18 loại thuốc hóa chất được sử dụng trong quá trình nuôi cá điêu hồng thuộc nhóm thuốc kháng sinh, nhóm thuốc hóa chất dùng xử lý môi trường và trị ký sinh trùng. Nhìn chung các loại kháng sinh sử dụng trong các mô hình nuôi không khác nhau nhiều, không có các loại thuốc nằm trong danh mục cấm của Bộ Thuỷ sản, tuy nhiên đa phần các loại thuốc đều nằm trong danh mục hạn chế sử dụng. Điều này có thể dẫn tới khả năng tồn lưu của các loại thuốc này cao hơn giới hạn cho phép (MRL) ảnh hưởng tới sức khoẻ người tiêu dùng và xuất khẩu sản phẩm.
