Abstract
Professeurs et chercheurs québécois dans le domaine de l’évaluation des apprentissages et formateurs de personnes enseignantes, futures ou déjà en exercice, les auteurs de l’article s’interrogent sur la nécessité, pour le ministère de l’Éducation du Québec [MEQ], de mettre à jour, 20 ans après sa parution, la Politique d’évaluation des apprentissages (MEQ, 2003), un document-phare qui guide les enseignants dans leurs pratiques évaluatives. S’ils sont d’avis qu’elle doit être revue en grande partie, ils énoncent sous sept grands thèmes les ajouts que devrait contenir une nouvelle mouture du document, soit l’impact de l’évaluation sur les élèves, les démarches non instrumentées, le vocabulaire dédié à l’évaluation, les valeurs évaluatives, la différenciation de l’évaluation, les communications avec les parents, ainsi que l’évaluation et le numérique.
