Yaşlı hipertansiyon hastalarında kırılganlık ve öz-bakım gücü arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi

Abstract
Araştırma, yaşlı hipertansiyon hastalarında kırılganlık ve öz-bakım gücü arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmış tanımlayıcı bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini evreni belli olmayan örnekleme yöntemine göre, %5 örneklem hatası ve %5 anlamlılık düzeyinde Ekim 2019- Ekim 2020 tarihleri arasında Düzce Atatürk Devlet Hastanesi dahili yataklı servisleri ve dahili polikliniklerine başvuran 65 yaş ve üzeri 299 hipertansiyon hastası oluşturmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri; "Hasta Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu", "Edmonton Kırılganlık Ölçeği" ve "Öz-bakım Gücü Ölçeği" kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistiksel metodlar, paremetrik karşılaştırma testleri ve korelasyon testleri kullanılmıştır. Hastaların yaş ortalaması 71.40±6.597'dir. Edmonton Kırılganlık Ölçeği toplam puan ortalaması 5.71±2.87, Öz-bakım Gücü Ölçeği puan ortalaması ise 90.19±12.06 olduğu saptanmıştır. Hastaların kırılganlık ve öz-bakım gücü düzeyleri arasında orta düzeyde negatif anlamlı doğrusal ilişki olduğu belirlenmiştir (r:-0.306; p<0.000). Araştırma sonucunda hastaların %37.1'inin çeşitli düzeylerde kırılgan olduğu, öz-bakım güçlerinin orta düzeyde olduğu; kırılganlık düzeyi arttıkça öz-bakım gücünün azaldığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Bu sonuçlar ışığında hemşirelerin yaşlı hipertansiyon hastalarının kırılganlık ve öz-bakım gücünü eş zamanlı değerlendirmesi, gereksinimleri doğrultusunda eğitimler planlanması önerilmektedir
