Abstract
[cat] Mallorca és una illa que des de principis del segle XX ha estat escenari d'un impor-tant nombre de produccions audiovisuals, tant de caràcter documental com d’obres de ficció. L'illa es va consolidant com a espai escènic, i en ella es duen a terme produccions de caràc-ter nacional i internacional. Els treballs filmats a Mallorca recollien principalment la bellesa del paisatge, i a partir del boom turístic, les zones costaneres. És per aquest motiu que Inca no hi tendrà protagonisme. La present comunicació pretén analitzar l'obra Un trono para Cristy, per ser aquesta una excepció en la qual apareix i es fa referència al municipi d'Inca. La intenció és extreure i analitzar la imatge que es crea d'Inca a través de la pel·lícula i veure si aquesta correspon amb la realitat.
