Cet article a pour objectif de documenter la navigation de croisières touristiques dans les eaux arctiques canadiennes. Rares sont les sources qui quantifient ce domaine d’activité, pourtant en plein essor. Ainsi, l’analyse de la fréquentation des eaux arctiques canadiennes par les navires de croisière depuis 1974 cherche à combler cette lacune. Ces données tangibles permettent par ailleurs d’étudier les types de lieux concernés par cette pratique et, de manière plus conceptuelle, de réfléchir sur l’appropriation du territoire arctique.
