Abstract
The second largest multicultural city in North America according to the Council of Europe, Montreal - and with it Quebec - has not yet recovered from the shock wave provoked by the Bouchard-Taylor Commission. As proof, the virulent debates recently raised by the Quebec Charter of Values, which divides as much as it questions conventional wisdom.\n\nWhat are the problems and issues related to intercultural Québec? What are its theoretical foundations, its history and its future? In this book, popular science texts are intertwined with testimonies and substantive analyzes, according to the historical, philosophical, political or anthropological perspectives of the emeritus researchers he brings together.
