Abstract
Este texto teórico-reflexivo analiza las relaciones entre la antropología y los cambios políticos recientes en Ecuador, desde la llegada de Alianza País al gobierno hasta la salida de Rafael Correa (2006-2017). Utilizando actas de congresos, documentos normativos y un análisis genealógico de antropología de/en Ecuador, exponemos la vinculación del indigenismo con la construcción de campos de estudio antropológicos. Asimismo, relacionamos las conexiones entre academia y políticas educativas actualmente; así como la relación entre la antropología ecuatoriana y la mexicana, con divergencias y convergencias con respecto a la antropología del stablishment Occidental. Un objetivo fundamental es mostrar la institucionalización de la antropología en Ecuador con respecto a otros países del entorno, mostrando cómo en los últimos años se han venido estableciendo sinergias y fortalezas en la aplicación de herramientas antropológicas en diversas comunidades y temáticas de estudio en dicho país.
