Fiscalidad regia y haciendas nobiliarias en Castilla (c.1250-c.1350): Los situados en los textos normativos

Abstract
Aunque la documentación fiscal que se ha conservado en Castilla es muy escasa antes del siglo XV, algunos documentos del reinado de Sancho IV permiten constatar la importancia de los pagos de rentas a los nobles por la hacienda regia ya a finales del siglo XIII. También las crónicas informan sobre ello. Sin embargo, no conocemos cómo funcionaba el sistema. Para ello, en este artículo estudiaremos la información contenida en los textos normativos: los códigos legales alfonsinos (Fuero Real, Espéculo y Siete Partidas), las recopilaciones legislativas (Fuero Viejo y otros textos) y los cuadernos de Cortes. En ninguno de ellos se ofrece una regulación global, pero el conjunto de las informaciones parciales permite una visión general.
