Abstract
Durante uma viagem pelas margens do mar Mediterrâneo, recebi um convite para compartilhar algumas considerações sobre etnografias e histórias orais na mesa “Uma caligrafia diversa da Etnobiografia”, do Seminário Internacional “Novas Metodologias para o Estudo da História Oral”, na Universidade Ca’ Foscari, em fevereiro de 2020. Recebi a mensagem enquanto fazia o “Caminho de Santiago” e respirava os ares daquela trila milenar. Fiquei entusiasmada com a possibilidade de expor e discutir experiências sobre tais questões, conhecer Veneza, conhecer colegas e estudos de outras latitudes. Fui especialmente instigada pelo convite a pensar entrecruzamentos entre contar histórias e a própria prática antropológica de interpretar significados microscopicamente (GEERTZ, 2003): que significados emergem quando contamos histórias? Como aparecem? Como contar uma história das histórias contadas?
